The "Locate Task" action enables users to find a task in the correct location in a project. Abillance.com automatically opens the project and locates the particular task to show it in context no matter what list the task was shown in. Just right-click it and let the system do the work.
I know what's the task about. Do I know why though?
We can find tasks where we are stakeholders in various views and lists. This is a convenient way to manage relevant activities nested together by applied filters like time, my role or priority.
But it is more important to see in what context that task has been assigned - to see it in its project specific location. The newly added context-menu action "Locate Task" enables just this: From any list in Abillance.com just right-cklick the task and have it located. The parent project is opened and the particular branch is expanded to such detail to make the task visible to you.
This functionality greatly improves the speed of finding a task and supports our philosophy that we should approach our work in context of the project and its goals. No work stands on its own, there's always something before and after.
